We had our own stall and seated area where our members could relax and enjoy some sweet treats. We also watched the festival activities which included poetry readings and some live jazz performances.

It was a wonderful afternoon and was great to be able to take the team and the Older People's Project Members outside to enjoy the summer weather.

Murder Mystery Event with Play Dead London

15th June

We had a Murder Mystery here at Kentish Town. Play Dead London put on their new Murder Mystery Story - "P.O.S.K.A. Parents of Super Kids Association". This was a superhero themed mystery, which was a lot of fun.

Working in teams, we watched events unfold, interrogated witnesses and examined evidence to work out who the killer was.

And congratulations to our winning team!

Play Dead London is an interactive theatrical extravaganza, where the audience play the detectives and solve the murder by digging for clues through watching the interactions between the characters and getting their hands dirty by interviewing the shady suspects themselves.

Cogniciti - Brain Health Workshop

8th March

We were very excited to team up with Cogniciti and participate in their Brain Health Workshops. They will ran two workshops on 8th March (10am & 11am) each one hour in duration.

Cogniciti’s Brain Health Workshop is a free, in-person workshop that provides older adults with the opportunity to learn about their brain health. During the workshop each participant took their own assessment on a laptop computer that Cogniciti provided. After each person was finished, they had the opportunity to meet individually with the Cogniciti team member to go over their score, ask questions about their brain health, and receive brain health tips based on the latest research on memory and ageing.

Hopefully we had a few people leave with a better awareness of their brain heath and some good guidance on how to improve it.
